COMING SOON: Border War XII

Greetings all,

I have been in touch with Wangaratta Council and we are unable to get Apex Park for Sunday 29th of November. 

I have had us PENCILLED in for the previous Sunday which is the FOURTH SUNDAY of the month... 22/11/09  for 11 am to approx 3 pm, near the Pavilion, same as last time. 

I urgently need to know: will this suit or should we have it the following Saturday, which is the FOURTH SATURDAY... 28/11/09 which at the moment is available?

The calendar is looking like this:

FIRST SAT: 7/11: LOCH ALBA BASH

SECOND SUN: 8/11: BC CENTRAL  FIGHTER PRACTISE / A&S

SECOND SAT: 14/11: Crown Tourney

THIRD SUN: 15/11: Crown Tourney 

THIRD SATURDAY: 21/11: BC CENTRAL  Bash & Feast

FOURTH SUNDAY: 22/11: WANG DEMO  ???

     or

FOURTH SATURDAY: 28/11: WANG DEMO???

FIFTH SUNDAY: off

SAT 5/12 & SUN 6/12 a week later are WILLIAM MARSHALL for those who want to wayfare...

Please advise a.s.a.p. which would suit everyone best, so I can confirm or cancel the booking.

My apologies, because at the moment I am not able to be there for either option.

Saturdays do not suit my family, but Sundays are easy.

I am hoping that there have been responses to this off list, but perhaps if this is not going to work out before Christmas, it may be better to look at doing a demo as a part of something that is already happening in Wang, such as a festival or even markets, where there could be a good potential audience.

It may generate more enthusiasm on both sides.

Sunday is a better option for Both of us to participate.

Saturdays when i have children is a wasted day.

Unfortunately we will be unavailable for both those days. Hope all goes well for it.

We have had an offer from Days of Knights [ie with Master Gwynfor, Mistress Nicolette et al...] who have volunteered to join us for the Wang demo on their way to a school demo in the North East.  I have accepted... so SUNDAY 22nd November at APEX Park, from 11:00 am AS OUR START TIME will be advertised in Wang...

It's the day after our bash, but it should be a very good demo with such SCAdian stalwarts (dinosaurs even) as Gwynfor, Nicolette and their troupe supporting us.

Details will be discussed at the meeting the previous Sunday at A&S.
